About dropafinder

dropafinder is a location finder builder for teams that need a branded, accessible way to help customers find them.

You can create a finder, add your locations, customize the design, and publish it on your website with a single line of code. No custom development required. No complicated handoff. No waiting on a developer every time a location changes.

Managing and using a location finder should be one of the easiest parts of your website. For some companies, it may also be one of the most important.

Why I Built It

The same locator build, over and over again.

I've spent over a decade building websites and custom tools for clients across health care, storage, restaurants, beverages, franchises, and other multi-location industries. Again and again, one of the most common custom features clients needed was a location finder.

The design was usually familiar: a search bar, a list and map, maybe cards, filters, and brand-specific styling. But the implementation was almost always custom. That meant extra cost, extra maintenance, and a tool that could become hard to update over time.

“Teams should not need a custom development project every time they want a location finder that works well, matches their brand, and stays easy to manage.”
Why It Matters

The bridge between a business and the person trying to reach it.

A location finder is not just a widget. It is often the bridge between a business and the person trying to reach it.

If the finder is inaccurate, hard to use, outdated, or broken, it can create frustration at the exact moment someone is ready to visit, call, book, buy, or get help.

Core principle

Finding a business should never depend on whether someone can use a map.

Accessibility is a core focus, with WCAG compliance considered from the start so more people can use the finder with confidence.

Built For Agencies First

Where I've seen the problem most clearly.

dropafinder is currently focused on marketing agencies because that is where I have seen the problem most clearly.

Agencies often need to deliver polished, branded location experiences for clients without turning every finder into a one-off build. dropafinder gives agencies a way to launch a custom-feeling finder, hand clients an easy management panel, and avoid creating long-term developer dependency for basic updates.

The product is flexible by design. Any brand with locations can use it to create, manage, improve, and embed a finder on their own site.

What Makes It Different

Built for real teams managing real location data.

The goal is not just to help you launch a finder. The goal is to help you keep it useful.

  • Edit without code

You can update your finder (locations, filters, card fields, design) directly in the dashboard. No developer needed for day-to-day changes.

  • Designed to match your brand

The embed is an extension of your site. Set your brand color, arrange what appears on each location card, and publish something that looks like it belongs there.

  • Shared locations across finders

One location set can power multiple finders. A provider finder and a service-area finder can draw from the same data without duplication.

  • Improvement suggestions

dropafinder surfaces issues in your location data so you can catch missing hours, incomplete addresses, or stale entries before they become problems.

  • Single embed, anywhere

Two lines of HTML work in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or any custom stack. Nothing to build, bundle, or host on your end.

Product Principles

What every finder should be.

  • A finder should be easy to manage.

Anyone on the team should be able to jump in, make updates, and understand what they are doing with little to no training.

  • A finder should represent the brand.

Our embed is an extension of your brand, so it should look and feel like it belongs on your website.

  • A finder should be accessible.

Every user should have the same ability to find the location, service, or destination they need.

  • A finder should stay useful after launch.

Location data changes. Teams change. Websites change. dropafinder is built to support the ongoing work, not just the first publish.

A Note From The Founder

Building this closely with the people who use it.

dropafinder is new, and I am building it closely with the people who use it.

I care about making this easier for teams because I have seen how often location finders become harder to manage than they should be. My goal is to build a reliable, practical product that helps businesses and customers connect without adding unnecessary complexity.

Customer feedback matters a lot at this stage. If something feels confusing, missing, too rigid, or surprisingly useful, I want to hear about it. That feedback directly shapes how dropafinder improves.
